Foundations
We offer a wide range of foundation solutions for our fixed tilt and tracker interface products. From ground screws for rocky soils, helicals for soft soils, c-piles for ideal soils, to ballast for impenetrable soils. Foundations are made in the U.S. at our manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with domestic content requirements. Non-domestic options are available as well.
GROUND SCREW
STRENGTH BELOW THE SURFACE
Engineered for durability, our ground screws are built to perform in the most challenging site conditions. Each screw features a heavy-walled main shaft for structural integrity and a forged tip designed to penetrate or deflect underground obstructions. Helical threads are welded using a patented automated process that ensures consistent, high-strength welds along their full length. A hot-dip galvanized coating protects against long-term corrosion, delivering reliable performance in tough environments.
STABILITY THROUGH ROCK AND SOIL
When rock and cobble are in the way, our ground screws are ready. The forged tip maintains a straight, plumb drive, while the helical threads securely anchor without snagging on obstructions. With their robust tube construction and fully welded connections, the screws can withstand high torque and downward force—advancing through dense, rocky ground where other foundations stall.
FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION WITH EXISTING EQUIPMENT
Designed with flexibility in mind, our ground screws can be installed using a variety of common equipment, including skid loaders and mini excavators fitted with auger attachments. Many drilling contractors can integrate ground screw installation with their current tools using a simple adapter—eliminating the need for major upgrades. Even traditional pile-driving rigs can be converted to rotary heads with minimal effort, streamlining deployment in the field.
HELICAL PILE
EFFICIENT, STRONG, HELICAL FOUNDATIONS
Our Helical Foundations offer a reliable solution for securing your project efficiently. Constructed with circular steel tubes, they maximize strength while allowing faster installation compared to traditional foundations. Available in multiple sizes, helicals can be tailored to meet your specific project demands. Larger helix plates provide increased strength and superior resistance to pullout. Onsite anchor testing helps us identify the optimal helix configuration—saving you money while ensuring stability.
VERSATILE SOLUTIONS FOR CHALLENGING SOILS
Helical piles excel in difficult soil conditions where other foundations struggle. Our proprietary shallow helical piles deliver stability and versatility in less-than-ideal soils, providing a cost-effective foundation solution. We customize size and embedment depth based on load bearing and pullout test results from onsite anchor testing, ensuring the foundation performs reliably under site-specific conditions.
EASY INSTALLATION FOR TOUGH SITES
Shallow helical piles install quickly without heavy pile-driving equipment. Using a skid steer with a chuck attachment or a single-point drive, these foundations reach just below the frost line, making them ideal for challenging sites. The helix design creates a large cone effect that resists high pullout loads and counters frost jacking forces, delivering durable, stable support even in tough environments.
HELICAL PILE
C-PILE
ROBUST AND RELIABLE
Our driven C-Pile foundations offer a strong solution for projects requiring deep structural support. Fabricated from high-strength, heavy-gauge steel with a distinctive “C” shape, these piles are designed for efficient installation in high skin-friction soils. Their strength and durability make them a proven choice for long-term stability.
RELIABLE AND FLEXIBLE PERFORMANCE
Driven C-Piles perform well on sites with favorable soil conditions and are adaptable in the field. Pre-punched hole options allow for quick adjustments during installation, while pile lengths can be customized to meet specific site requirements. Using specialized equipment, piles are driven to the required depth to establish a stable foundation.
GEO-BALLAST
INNOVATIVE CONCRETE-FREE BALLAST SOLUTION
Developed through years of experience with ballasted solar projects, the Geoballast Foundation replaces costly and time-consuming concrete methods. Our engineering and R&D teams reimagined the traditional gabion basket to create a highly engineered, concrete-free ballast solution. The result is a foundation system with one of the fastest installation times and excellent cost efficiency.
SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATION WITH LOCAL MATERIALS
Using locally sourced quarry rock, installation is as simple as placing the weight in the box—no waiting on concrete trucks, renting pumps, or onsite clean-up. This eliminates the need for temporary molds and curing times, putting the speed and flow of your project fully under your control.
PRE-ASSEMBLED AND EASY TO DEPLOY
The galvanized steel wire box arrives over 70% pre-assembled. Onsite, unfold the box, secure the spiral wires, and connect the anchor tubes. Once fully assembled, the foundation can be positioned precisely, filled with quarry rock, and quickly integrated into the project row. This design makes assembly, staging, and stringlining straightforward and efficient.
pour-n-go
EFFICIENT, STRONG, POUR-N-GO FOUNDATIONS
Our TITAN Pour-N-Go Ballast foundation eliminates the hefty transportation costs associated with pre-cast concrete. The Pour-N-Go buckets are constructed from rigid, high-strength plastic material and integrate an engineered foundation and rebar. When paired with the TITAN racking system, this solution provides durable racking and longer spans, especially for sites where the ground is impenetrable. The ballast buckets are easily transported and staged, and the installation process is streamlined because you can completely assemble the racking prior to filling the buckets with concrete.
VERSATILE SOLUTIONS FOR CHALLENGING SOILS
The TITAN Pour-N-Go system is specifically designed for challenging sites where the ground cannot be penetrated. This makes it ideal for locations such as landfills and brownfield sites. To manage varied terrain, the system uses two buckets per foundation set. This unique dual-bucket design offers the necessary flexibility to accommodate sites with topography.
EASY INSTALLATION FOR TOUGH SITES
The Pour-N-Go foundation dramatically streamlines the installation process for contractors. The ballast buckets are easily transported and staged on site. A key benefit of the system is the ability to completely assemble the racking before filling the buckets with concrete, creating a “Pour-N-Go” assembly sequence. This foundation, made from rigid, high-strength material with an engineered foundation and rebar, provides durable support even on sites with high topography, thanks to its dual bucket design.
